Clear golden coloured and hoppy. Crisp slightly dry lasting malt finish. KarmanGhia (276), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jan 31, 2006 Juplier --"jew-pee-law"-- is not a disaster, but it is merely a good pale ale. It is strongly carbonated, mostly malts, and only okay like you might say a Michelob is okay when you are thirsty. blankboy (3165), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 28, 2006 Draught shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev at Esplanade Bier Markt. Pours a clear light gold with a small white head. Very poor, mild grainy aroma with a touch of hops and honey. That aroma doesn’t bode well for the flavour. The flavour has a bland, watery, slightly sweet and grainy taste -- basically a crappy generic macro Lager. Thin bodied and almost flat. A totally useless beer, I see no reason for it to even exist. HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jan 26, 2006 Draught. At Bier Market, shared with blankboy and tupalev. Basically this is swill - reminds me of Bud Light, sugary apple juce watered down to nothing. Poured pale clear oily flat gold with a creamy/fizzy white draught head. Too cold! What aroma I got even after warming up was sweet, dry, wheaty with vague hops - a whole pint of nothing. Taste is very mild, sugary apple juice sweetness and some slight bitterness presumably from hops, some sweet grains and a very lightly bitter finish - mouthfeel is VERY watery, pretty much completely flat. This is like drinking sweetened water with (probably) some stale hops added. tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 26, 2006 Draught at the Bier Market, with blankboy and hogtown harry. Light yellow, bubbly white head. Light grassy hops, slightly sweet hardly there aroma. Incredibly bland taste - there is really isn’t anything there served this ice cold. I had a full pint, so as it warmed a bit, there was a slightly grainy taste with slight skunky hops in the finish. Maybe a hint of fruit as well. Refreshing I suppose served this cold but this was an incredibly bland beer - I’m not sure who thought it would be a great idea to have this as a "Bier Market Exclusive!", but I guess it got me to go. I’ll be back in another 2 years to see what’s new. jhamiltonwv (4), USA does not count Jan 23, 2006 This is Belgium Budweiser. Good for parties! It produces a nice head and very easy to drink but none the less just decent. iammadeofjelly (183), Liverpool, Merseyside, England Jan 16, 2006 Had this on holiday a while back, only beer they had on site, was alright i guess, just like stella really. An alright beer. Golden bland and slightly malty, Keeper (164), Milano, Italy Jan 5, 2006 Belgian Lager, blond color, whithe foam Very light maltiness, light bitter.
Very common aroma, grassy.
