Jupiler is Belgium’s best selling lager. It is a decent but certainly not exceptional lager and the quality from tap is generally better than from the bottle. The taste is honest but not very original, which probably explains its wide appeal. From the same brewery as Stella Artois, which has more hop notes (in Belgium at least).

Brussel - It pured gold like any other, smelled hoppy but was not complex, there really wasn’t any taste, this was watered down. It left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.

It’s a very standard lager. Somewhat boring and very flat taste. Not tasty at all, can do, but choose others if you have a chance. Pale yellow color.

On tap somewhere in France. Another boring pale lager that offers little. To it’s credit, it went down really fast because I wanted to try the other beers at the place. haha

Draught in Brussel
Refreshing, light sourly, herbal aroma. Quite boring standard lager. Refreshing but nothing special. Light malty, light dry, astringent finish.

Bottle. Nice white frothy head. Smell of hops. Nice and bitter, refreshing. Little bit acidic aftertaste. Not a bad pilsener. Going to get another one, i’m thirsty...

Had in Amsterdam. Pale yellow color, but it was too fizzy, like it was overcarbonated or something. Also didn’t much care for the bitter taste.

Bottled. There´s not much I can tell about this beer, other than that it is a average lager. Not bad. I actually thought this would be a pilsner, as it has a somwhat dry finish. Better than Heineken.
