It does have a tanginess to it, but its just another lager really. Papsoe (14891), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Or at least it used to be. Pale yellow with a fairly decent head. Nice flowery nose and some hoppiness in the palate. A bit watery. A fairly decent pilsener if not exactly very different from most of this world’s pale lagers. 071193 beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

It has no taste to speak of, comes in ugly containers, and tapping and temperature make no improvement. The good news is that Belgium has hundreds of other beers to choose from--even a decent lager or two (try Primus!). ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA

And terribly cheap- but so was almost every other good belgian beer in brussels. I didnt waste much time with this one. Very pale golden color with a decent white head. Flavor and aroma were moderatly bland with just a hint of hops. Clean finish and aftertaste though. I had one local at the bar tellign me how belgium is the best country for beer in the world and that every town has thier own brewery and each beer is unique special and so good- yet he kept drinking jupiler and stella all night. wtf?
