Common Belgian pilsener. Recommended for a good evenings drinking or on a warm terras. Nice combo of bitter and sweet. Light colour. nothial special but all you’d expect from a pilsener.

I was amazed to see that I have no rating for this one... Quite a common belgian pilsener. Hoppy smell. Pale golden coloured with a white head. Taste is hoppy, sweet and bitter. Very typical fresh pilsener. Okay brew though.

Draught, Belgium. Fairly dry, fairly thin tasting, fair amount of head. Mediocre and often disgustingly cheap (I’m sure we paid 2 euro for 3 pints in a dingy Brugge bar). There’s hundreds of Belgian beers that are better and not a lot that are worse.

A yellow beer with next to no head - and a boring aroma as weel as flavor. Just another boring lager.

veryblight color, almost strawyellow, medicnal aroma's, very little taste of malts, more fruity, less bitters than in a normal lager. Not my kind of beer

Bottled, pasteurised. Pale yellow with fizzy head. Expected much more from this, but it turned out to be standard eurofizz with a thin malt base and a thin attempt at flavour. Sugary carbonation with a nasal alcohol.

Can, from machine on platform at Ostend train station. At the time this proved a step too far for an already inebriated Brit, just off the ferry. This is very standard, aiming to be refreshing but not even having a particularly clean taste. Obviously the can contributed to the metal flavours, but I couldn't help feeling, even in my state, that this was a little disappointing - weak, soft and watery. (Aroma and appearance scores based on subsequent tastings).

Light hoppy aroma. Ascerbic & a bit sulphury. Pale yellow clear with white foamy lacing head. Medium watery body with low-med carb. Mellow bitter & light sweetness in start. Slight bitter finish. Not very flavorful but refreshing.
