It smells very hoppy, which I don’t really appreciate. The taste is very watery and under-par. The rumored quality only comes from the wide availabilty. HOPSHUNTER (376), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma was barely present. Flavor was thin and watery. Amazes me the amount of this stuff I’ve seen consumed in Belgium. Straling (185), Heerlen, Netherlands

Poured a clear golden colour with a normal size head and good carbonation.
Smell was rather vile, not too pleasant at the least.
Taste was acceptable but I expected more from it. Pinball (2781), Allerød, Denmark

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Oct 24, 2008 This beer is advertised everywhere in Belgium. Every bar, even ones with great beer selections, have a Jupiler (or a Maes...or SAS Pils) sign in the window. At a very touristy Brussels bar with a very limited beer selection (King of Spain on the Grande Place) I decided to have one out of curiousity. And I am sad that I did. While the beer looked pretty good, this is a beer that a country with the brewing heritage and vibrancy of Belgium should be ashamed to have spawned.
The beer looks pretty good; it is an attractive brilliant gold color with fluffy white head. Aroma is non-existent. Flavor is totally unnoticeable. Mouthfeel is thin. I had a lot of buyer’s remorse at having ordered this.
I would not recommend this beer. thewolf (5727), Kolding, Denmark

Pours pale golden with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma is sweet with lots of brewing cereal. Light carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour has some yeast, light malts and a touch of wet dog hoppiness. Dull.
