Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Jun 16, 2008 Courtesy of Yespr. Golden with an OK head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt and hints of cooked cabbage. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, light citrus and a slightly dry and very light bitterness. It’s very boring. gary07734 (391), Tyne & Wear, England Jun 13, 2008 Yep it’s a standard alcohol with little in the way of complex flavours but not a bad example.
Pale yellow pour with lots of carbonation, taste is crisp and refreshing with a hint of hops. mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 10, 2008 [1177-20080303] Tap. Some yeasty bread and mild citrus aroma. Clear, yellow light green body with lots of bubbles and a long-lasting creamy white head. Mild yeasty hay flavour has hints of lemon hops. Light body has a rough finish. Refreshing for a light one.
(@ de Volksbond; Ypres, BE) borisz (180), Netherlands Jun 7, 2008 25 CL bottle, very small :P Golden yellow color. Good belgium Pilsners one of the best easy to get in Holland. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia Jun 3, 2008 Stale malt hop aroma with some ashtray for good measure. Clear yellow colour with poor head and lacing. Bitter stale malt flavour. Flat palate. BelgianBeerGal (1277), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 31, 2008 Updated: Jul 18, 2009Bottle/can/draft multiple times throughout Belgium. Better than average pale lager. Not as thin and watery as American versions and not as skunky as the Dutch variants. Great pub beer. bhensonb (4189), Woodland, California, USA May 30, 2008 Can. Light golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, grass and corn. Rather thin. Mild frothy carbonation. "Corny" flavor, with some grassy hop. Decent amount of bitter - so much bitter in that respect than American macro lagers. estpiwo (457), Estonia May 21, 2008 Bottle, can and draft in Belgium. Draft is more better than others. Golden yellow color.Full flavor, feel yeast. Some hoppy tones. Not so bad.
