Tap in Bruges. Ultra-clear yellow pour with medium, lasting carbonation. Strong malty taste and enough bitterness, but nothing to get excited about. Pretty weak for a Pilsner, though.

Tasted at the Copenhagen beer festival 2006. A good easy to drink slightly bitter pilsner beer.

Golden amber color with a bubbly fizzy style white head. Smell is very grassy and not very good. Light beer taste with a hoppy flavor.

Funnily enough, this is my father’s favorite Belgian beer. As far as I could tell, this was also the most prevelent beer to be found in Belgium. You could buy it anywhere... vending machines, pastry shops, etc... It is essentially a standard pilsener beer, even though it is called a pale lager here. Taste is not too strong or complex, but still is definately a good beer. Would not call it watery, but it certainly is light. I like this beer... would rather have it than most American macro-brewed beers.

I prefer a bottle of Jupiler over a bottle of Stella. Jupiler another tastless beer but one with a reliable character.

25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, yet refreshing, not balanced, clear, small head, nothing special

Pretty boring pilsner, butt good enough to get you drunk. Almost everyone in Belgium likes this.

not very bad but very unexciting... a bit sweet taste dominates, i miss the hop for a balanced taste, it could be good but...
