UPDATED: MAY 21, 2013 Blonde assez claire, filtrée, pétillance clairsemée. Légèrement amère et un rien sucrée. Une pils convenable.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
25 cl on draught or in a bottle, everywhere in Belgium.
Smells like a pils. But something wrong in it. Cereal, grain.
Looked like a pils, yellow clear, lacing head.
Tastes of hay, grass, and even something sweet.
Easy to drink... loads of them, during a bbq or a musicfestival.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice lager from Belgium with good colour and head. Malty aroma and light bitter taste. Decent finish, making it very refreshing. On the Dutch market, the problem for this beer is pricing. Crate costs the same as the other ’premium’ lagers and pilsners, yet the bottles are smaller.

Simple, but nice lager. When we were younger we practically lived on this one during the summer and the camping of the rockfestivals... Only drink it out of nostalgia as I prefer a Cristal Alken nowadays IF i?m going for a lager.

Looks like lager, smells like lager, tastes like lager. The best thing to say about Jupiler is that it’s a lot nicer than Stella, hence it’s the staple lager of Belgium.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at several places throughout Belgium. Pours a crystal clear, straw colored body with an inch thick, foamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet pale malts with a bit of a graininess as well as a light grass and a few apple fruit notes. Flavor is similar. Grainy, somewhat sweet pale malts with a bit of an apple fruitiness and a light grass throughout. Finishes clean and dry with a light bitterness before leaving a shorter aftertaste. Light body and an active carbonation. Overall, a decent pale lager. Pretty simple, but balanced and clean with no off-flavors. Not bad.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap in Belgium. For what it is, it’s not a bad beer. Good ice cold on a sunny day. Malty aromas, clear yellow with a white head and easy to drink - and forget.

33cl can from an AH store in Leiden. Pale straw with a thin fading white head; sweet cereal grain taste with a reasonable fresh grassy bitterness. Not too bad for a mass market lager.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Plain yellow colored pilsener. Hoppy aroma with quite a bitter taste. The aftertaste is also slightly bitter but remains a little bit longer than usual.
Standaard lichtgelig pils met de mooie witte schuimkop. Hoppig aroma met een vrij bittere smaak. Ook de nasmaak is vrij bitter maar blijft iets langer hangen dan anders.
