500 ml bottle in Amberg, Germany. Is a very dark brown color with an off white frothy head. Aroma is dark malt, sweetness and yeast. Taste is roasted malt, bananas and some fruit. Palate is a full malt with smoothness. Plank makes much better but this is good.

Bottle. Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, mid-sized stable fluffy off-white head. Sweet dry berries in the nose, mixed with wheat and dark malt, accompanied by a light phenolic touch. Moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied. Fruity and caramelly finish with a touch of cacao-powder in the aftertaste. Very pleasant, well balanced Dunkelweizen.............

(bottle) Hazy, ruby colour with a big and beige foamy head, also quite lasting. Medium sweet and slightly acidic toast-malty nose with a moderate wheat-character and fruity notes (prunes, red berries). Light-sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation for a wheat-beer. Toast-malty and wheaty taste with lighter fruity notes and a shy touch of liquorice; dry, slightly acidic and fruity finish with a whiff of blackcurrants in the aftertaste. Not directly easy-going, more for real fans of Dunkelweizens (23.07.08).
