500 ml bottle in Amberg, Germany. Is a very dark brown color with an off white frothy head. Aroma is dark malt, sweetness and yeast. Taste is roasted malt, bananas and some fruit. Palate is a full malt with smoothness. Plank makes much better but this is good.

Bottle 50cl.
Light unclear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, caramel - roasted notes. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081128]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a creamy, off-white head. Discreet aroma of yeast and roasted malt. Medium-bodied, a little roasted malt, yeast and overripe fruit. Dry finish. 281108

50 cL bottle, courtesy fonefan. Pours hazy dark brown with a small, dense and light tan head. Yeasty, wheaty and roasted malt aroma. Sweet wheaty and light roasted malty flavoured. Medium dry finish. Subdued on the estery and yeasty notes in favour of the roasted malt.

Bottle. Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, mid-sized stable fluffy off-white head. Sweet dry berries in the nose, mixed with wheat and dark malt, accompanied by a light phenolic touch. Moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied. Fruity and caramelly finish with a touch of cacao-powder in the aftertaste. Very pleasant, well balanced Dunkelweizen.............

Bottle, 5.0%. Cloudy dark brown colour. Slightly metallic flavour. The flavour is also roasted and slightly citric.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit as well as a touch of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of burnt malt, caramel, fruit, and wheat. Øv.

(bottle) Hazy, ruby colour with a big and beige foamy head, also quite lasting. Medium sweet and slightly acidic toast-malty nose with a moderate wheat-character and fruity notes (prunes, red berries). Light-sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation for a wheat-beer. Toast-malty and wheaty taste with lighter fruity notes and a shy touch of liquorice; dry, slightly acidic and fruity finish with a whiff of blackcurrants in the aftertaste. Not directly easy-going, more for real fans of Dunkelweizens (23.07.08).

schwandorf might be a real dump but this is a fine beer. ruby brown with a head that died instantly. peachy aroma, almost barley wineish. quite sweet, seems much stronger than it is

Dark malts, sweet, yeasty aroma. Dark brown colour, clear!, off-white creamy head. Light roasted with flavors of nuts and prune. Moderate full. Good hops in the finish.
