Tmoney99 (3620), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 27, 2008 Bottle from Bello Vino, MI. Poured hazy brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate grainy sweet malt aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. Solid drinkable beer. incutrav (521), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA Jan 31, 2008 This says retired on here, buy my local Cellars has a ton of bottles of these. Must be old. It should be retired because it was pretty bland, watery, with a hint of maltiness. It says Dark beer, but i wouldnt say that, fairly light. I’ll pass. kseecs16 (570), Westmont, Illinois, USA Nov 16, 2007 Bottle. Poured out a somewhat opaque brown with minimal head. Mettalically sharp aroma of mildly chocolatey malt. An offensively lingering vaguely malty taste. Thin, tingly feel. Skyview (2901), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Oct 26, 2007 Last of the six-pack available at Cellar’s WIne & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a semi-clear brown brew with an average off-white head that quickly dissolves. Aroma of multi-grain biscuits, some grassy hops and something reminding me of Pledge furniture polish. Taste is medium bodied, very highly carbonated with dark malt flavor and some grassy/barnyard bitterness. Finish is watery and slightly bitter that quickly disappears. A bit light for a dark beer. Average at best. joverton85 (80), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Oct 11, 2007 irish style beer from poland? sounded funny to me too and it was cheap. not really irish at all but suprisingly good. very good malt flavor goes down smooth. pours very dark slightly tawny ruby color and big head that fades too quickly. i would drink this again easily.
