Bottle. Clear pale golden pour with a foamy white head. Aroma is skunk forward with some grass aromas. Lighter palate. Taste is grassy and metallic. Not good at all.

Got this at the chalet and it was a bargain. $2 for a big 16 oz bottle, just as cheap as the american pale lagers. Big brown bottle with clear pale yellow beer within. Its covered in a gold foil top as if it was quality er sumthin. Decently fresh beer aroma of euro lager. Has a bit of astringent personality at first. Yes, slightly weird processed flavors in the background become very apparent after you swallow. Decently fizzy with good co2. Boy, that background bitter bite is somewhat artificial; leaves something else to be desired. Ooooh my that finish is unique, don’t know what’s going on there.

Sweet malty and grainy in aroma. The flavor is very grainy with sweetness to it. A little sweet and not quite as hoppy as other premium lagers but it was decent, could’ve been much worse.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2011 Aroma of hay, grass, and skunk. Flavors of toffee, biscuits, and preservatives. A splash of pils hops and a round mouthfeel. A typical euro pils import.

500ml bottle. Dull orange-tan color. Thin head. Pretty bad aroma, smells quite sugary and brutal. Yeah, this is really bad beer. Dirty, grainy mouthfeel. Sickly sweet sugary body. Really factory flavored, grossly metallic. This is some horrible beer. Ouch.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ughsmash (5836) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 3, 2010
500mL bottle as "Jurand Extra Beer", BB 11/12/10. Poured clear, almost fluorescent golden with a light cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey, pale, and a touch of fruity malts with light floral accents.. just a touch of raw alcohol on the back.. I rather enjoyed it. The flavor found honey and corn syrup sweetness at the core.. light floral bitterness around.. a tad tangy on the sweet finish.. again not bad. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. interesting-enough blend of sweetness at the end.. alcohol was nicely hidden. Not bad at all.
