2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 halfonit (977) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - APR 9, 2012
Pours a lighter golden color. Aroma is of malts, hops, wheat, grain....just about everything that you would have found in the Buzzards Bay IPA. Flavor is the same. There might be a little bit of toffee or caramel malts used, but besides that, this is the same recipe as before. I liked it then, and I still like it today. It makes me feel like I did back then when I could just relax and not worry about all of these bills. Now that I’ve said all of that, let me hit this kush.

A decent easy-drinking IPA. Medium honey color with frothy light tan head and wonderfull freshness. Slightly sweet honey malt notes but with a good bittering backside. A bit sticky, but not too much.

Nice hop aroma with some nutty malt undertones. Good copper color with foamy white head. Good balance, nice and hoppy up front with a sweet malty middle and a clean hoppy finish. Medium body, a good drinkable beer.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 auerbrau (2668) - Peace Dale, Rhode Island, USA - DEC 18, 2010
22oz Bottle, purchased at the brewery. A nice and juicy glow, with citrus heavy, piney and minty. Certainly not balls-to-the-wall west coast style, but getting there. More, midwestern in an Amercian IPA aroma hopping strategy. Flavor profile is fresh and bristly with hops. Crisp hop cone minerals, pine resins, and citrus zests, bound to a well built lightly chewy malt base. Clean, fresh, affordable and well-hopped.
