3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bottle. Pretty sure this is a brown ale, not a chocolate stout. Light brown color with a frothy tan head. Malty and sweet aroma. Chocolate, earth, and some caramel. Nutty notes. Clean and drinkable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
22oz Bottle, purchased at Wakefield Liquors - Wakefield, RI. Pours a pale dark brown, this is barely reaching porter strength. Nose imps at the thought of roasted malt and a hint of brown sugar. In the body, some crispy roast edges of chocolate, but then a lot of thin wateriness. Weak and washed out. Fresh, but lacking tooth and stout roast malt. Bummer, man, bummer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Battleship. Pours dark brown with a thick head. Aroma is just of malts, a little roastiness, and chocolate. Nothing really special. Flavor is the same. Itís nothing that overall impressive, but itís always good to help support local brews. Thereís some good guys that work there.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is roast, malts, chocolate, and a little metallic tinge. Bittersweet flavor with coffee and chocolate bitterness. Sweet chocolate aftertaste. A solid effort from a decent little brewery.
