She’s a lovely brew with glorious moves. Hopped with only hops from the 2009 harvest at Segal Ranch in Grandview, Washington. We want to present the terroir, the natural flavor and aroma of our friend’s farm, in this brew. Hopped with bittering hops, several flavor hops additions, whirlpool hops, hopback hops, dry hops. We added hops at every opportunity and created a perfectly balanced golden beer, let it ride your palate into the sunset.

Hazy pale golden/straw pour with big eggy head. Nose is lightly hopped balanced by semisweet malts. Vibrant first sip.active carbonation and dry grassy hops. Clean body. mellow finish. Overall a very mild but drinkable IPA.

650 ml bottle (as pictured) purchased at Georgios Billerica, MA. Hazy, dirt gold color thin head in a snifter. Aroma is rather herbal with a decent amount of earthiness and rounds out with some sweeter malt.

The base of the brew has some dusty wheat follow by the earthy character that was noticed in the nose. Pale malts through the center leading into a light pine bitterness. After sipping 12 oz. of this brew I realized it was rather easy to drink but was a duplicate of approximately 200 other IPA’s I have sampled. Nothing to really give it an identity of its own.

This was courtesy of strykzone via a trade. Thanks Dave. Poured hazy gold with a golden head. Nose us citrus and tropical fruit. Medium body and a sticky resinous mouth feel. Flavor is big on tropical fruit and citrus. Bitterness is under control. The finish is is dry and bitter and I like the way the tropical fruit linger. Very nice classic IPA.

Bomber I picked up on an east coast trip. Golden with some orange hue. It is hazy and wears a lightly gilded head. Heavy sticky lacing. A straight up citrus aroma. The flavor begins with that complex citrus and moderate bitterness. Caramel malts are nice and let the hops stay in front. Early on something powdery is noted. I did not roll this bottle so it should not be sediment. After the citrus I begin to taste more tropical fruit along with herbal notes. Bitterness has moderated. This finished with pineapples and grapefruit. A nice IPA that brings some nice classic flavors.

Bomber at home. Clear golden pour with a lively head. Thick lacing. Aroma of tangerines, pine, lime zest, cake batter. The body is light, lean, and well attenuated. Kind of creamy and buttery tasting underneath, with fresh bitter hops throughout. The hop profile leans towards citrus pith and pine resin. Dry, crisp, refreshing finish. Excellent.

22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that has golden hues and supports a tall dirty white head of foam. The moderate aroma offers up various subtleties like malts, grainy malts, citrus tartness, a faint orange flavored gummy bear note and a soft sweet cotton candy sensation. The taste has sweet malts and tart citrus running into sort of lime mixed with earthy herbal spices. To midway it picks up sweet malts blending into a modest degree of bitter resiny hoppiness. This is alright and kind of on the bitter hop side of things.

Horseneck Golden IPA has a very thick, frothy, off-white head, a golden-orange appearance with bubble streams and big, gray-white sediment chunks suspended throughout, and lots of thick lacing left down the sides of the glass. The aroma is full and odd- slight citrus, sugary sweetness, bread, and cream cheese cake frosting. The taste is of the same elements with a touch of peaches in cling syrup and a moderate hop bitterness in the after-taste. Mouthfeel is medium, soft, and slick. Horseneck Golden IPA finishes semi-dry, very refreshing, and highly drinkable. This is outstanding! RJT

Appearance: hazy golden color, not quite transparent, thick and dense white head, retains and laces very well Aroma: malty grain, darker malt aroma, Taste: darker malt than the appearance suggests, also bitter, some coffee even, hints of grass and pine Palate: high c02, bitter aftertaste, full mouthfeel Overall: very strong malt presence, also bitter, not much aroma from the hops tho, malt takes center stage, but its a nice malt presence, grain with some bitterness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden pour, minimal head and lacing. Floral aroma with taste of grapefruit and grass. Very light for an ipa but smooth. Not the best but still better than mass produced.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2014 Pours a cloudy golden with a light head and light lacing. Floral aroma, very little flavor earthy flavor. Smooth drinking beer, however flavor is underwhelming. It isn?t a double or triple which should make it expected however for an IPA there isn?t much there.

On tap at Benjamin’s. Mild floral hop aroma with some butterscotch and biscuit. Medium amber hazy with thin off-white lacing head. Medium body and carbonation. Starts dry with lots of hop flavor, light carbonic acidity and medium biscuit sweetness. Big finishing hop flavor with lasting medium bitter after.
