3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the bottle. Nice fruity citrus aroma. Taste is light and sessionable, with the citrus and tropical fruits coming through. Clean finish. I am impressed for a grocery store shelf beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had on tap in a pint glass.
Pours a clear bright copper with a one finger white head. Decent lacing and head retention.
There is a very bright citrusy hop aroma that kind of surprised me. Not much malt at all in the nose but the pleasant hops more than make up for that.
The flavor is much like the aroma with tropical citrus and there is just a slight touch of toast from the malt. The balance is outstanding and the flavors are very clear and crisp with a drying, moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin but this is a lower alcohol beer.
Overall, this beer surprised me in how good it was. I know they were going for just a basic, no frills IPA and this really hits the mark. Something I really wouldnít mind having again.

A sessionable IPA. The hop profile fits the IPA description and I canít tell of any flavor loss to fermentables due to lower ABV. Decent offering. Semi-hazy orangish yellow with thin head. Citrus, grapefruit, and flowers in the nose.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Light amber, mostly clear color. Ok initial citrusy aroma. Light IPA. Good hop bitterness. A little citrusy for my taste but solid IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very light, even thin, but still has a good deal of flavor. Has nice piny and resinous hop flavors with some mild aromatic / citrus notes. Not bad - drinks like a session IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice beer. Very easy going down. Nice hoppy aroma over a caramel sweet base. The flavor starts sweet but the hops take over quickly. Crisp and dry.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. I didnít pour into a glass, so I donít have any insight into the appearance. This is a pretty decent "intro to IPAs", I think - would be a good intro beer for someone trying to get into them. Slightly hoppy, but not too much in the pine or citrus or flowery taste or smell...just a simple, balanced beer. About what Iíd expect from a standard Boston Beer offering - solid beer for the masses.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I quite like this. The look and colour is a bit weak though, pale, light gold but good head lacing the glass. Aroma pretty strong with both pine and citrus and pine notes with a decent medium bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint on tap. Clear shiny orange-yellow with a lasting cream on top. Typical American IPA aroma of crisp citrus, resin and a touch of caramel. Tastes of citrus, resin, caramel and fruit-scented soap. Light-medium body is a bit thin, well to the dry side and has medium-high but smooth carbonation. Good sessioner.
