Schooner at local bar. Dark amber/copper color. A sweet sticky and toffee beer. Not sickly sweet but strong. Reduced carbonation did not help. Not sign of spices as I drank. As intended, just a bunch of stuff thrown together.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a reddish dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of maple syrup, a touch of smokiness, and caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, showcasing lots of maple syrup upfront, followed by fairly light smokiness, and caramel. A little cloying but pretty decent.

Draft pour. Black with cream head. Very different brew with a nutty, maple flavor. Bread and wood finish. Very tasty. Love it.

Draft at ebp. Pours a murky dark brown with loose grayish head and golden brown edges. Big sweet smoky dark brown bread nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Tangy bacon and lots of malty bready notes. Long malty finish. Best thing yet from these guys.
