3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Light pale golden color. Really nice frothy white head, great retention. Aroma is oranges, bubblegum, banana, cloves - think hefeweissen or wit. Taste is nice and sweet. Hop bitterness is present but quite muted. Quite tasty overall. Not sure I get the "ipa" part of it, but very smooth, drinkable, and pleasant.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle, I think fresh, no date of course. Seems to have just hit Full Throttle Bottles. Poured into old school Blanche de Chambly flute glass. Clear golden color, small head. Well, the beer is what I hoped for. You see, its a nano brewery that has been messing around with funky stuff. Now, its back to brewing a white IPA. Yet, this white IPA is touched by Brett. Or maybe I am getting Brett crazy and imagining things. Definitely a strong, soft wheat maltiness, slightly sweet biscuity bread. Light fruity and citrus hops peak out, low bitterness. The brett is light but funk-centric, just a light herbal brett blanket of funk over the beer. Cool stuff, wish it was a bit leaner but may get nicer with a bit of time.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a moderately hazy light amber color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is pretty light for me - I get a slight bit of orange peel, but none of what I would consider a hop character. Taste is a bit bitter, and has an odd gummy flavor I don’t particularly care for. Not a fan.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slight cloudy yellow pour. Aroma of beans, hops, peaches; crazy smells. Tastes of belgian yeast, heavy bretta, pronounced bitterness. Very dry; out of balance. Strong in every way, but still pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Good to be #10. Bomber from Malt & Vine. (54 IBU) Pours dishwater gold. White head. Strong citrus/yeast aromas. Flavor is very citrus, but coming across as a Belgian wit to an extent. The flavors are very mixed, but discernible. Tangerine, grapefruit, floral. Yet the Belgian part is not in doubt. Quite a distinct sort of flavor from standard NW IPAs. Different is good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Belgian IPA that would be better but has two downsides. First, very unbalanced -- a lemon note is dominant and crushes everything else going on. Second, I'm getting a bit of soapiness at the back end. C.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Such a pale dirty straw, so thick, its like a Bit-O-Honey milkshake.   Moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   IPA, really?   Faint spicy nose, a bit wheaty, some straw.   Smooth on the tongue,
muted spices, little hop, but moreso nothing really off.   This one is certainly different, not hoped like most other IPAs tho.   Its almost medicinal, but that could be the 7.5% shining through.   This is a weird one, but
not really in a bad way.   I would say more of a Pale Ale than IPA, and a bit more spiced albiet the spices are muted/dull.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Strong wheat and straw on the finish, a bit thick, with soft
spices.   I can dig this one, certainly different.   I almost think this is more of a Wheat beer with spices and hops than anything else.   Seems very yeasty.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden in color, hazy with a thin white head. Lots of aroma with both yeast and malts and light hops. This was a very interesting beer with a interesting Belgian yeast backing. The yeast in my humble opinion covers the hops for a super IPA Belgian flavor.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a bright golden hue and a thick, four centimetre tall white head - nice with zillions of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of pale malt, wheat, coriander seed, a hint of earthier hops and a little bit of curacao and lemons. Medium-bodied; Assertive yeast and wheat flavour with definite spice notes of coriander seed, a hint of nutmeg and a little clove, some light sweetness, but almost not hops at all. Aftertaste shows mainly wheat and yeast with a bit of spice and a complex clove note. Overall, a good wit, but I’m not seeing anything resembling an IPA or ’White IPA’ at all about this one. Definitely nice to try, but I’ll see what else the brewer offers the next time I’m out West. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 11-January-2013 for US$5.79 sampled at home back east in the Real Washington on 01-February-2013.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with a dense and creamy white head. lots of sheeting ace. Big bubblegum nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, bread, bubble gum, and watermelon on the mid palate. Kind of all over the place, but weird yeast combinations are definitely the signature of the house.
