Commercial Description:
A wonderfully balanced true pale ale. Cascade, Tomahawk, and Amarillo hops create a citrusy aroma with a smooth, crisp finish. A subdued malt character nicely complements the hop complexity and produces an orangey amber hue.

I LOVE this beer! Oddly enough, I ordered it a coffee shop and couldn’t get over how good it was. It’s a smooth and refreshing treat for someone who is new to the vast world of beers. Ever since I tried it, I’ve been searching for some to take home with me. I’m obsessed almost...that’s how good I thought it was.

Here’s proof that an outstanding American Pale Ale can be had for a fair and affordable price. Amber color with an off-white head is inviting. The aroma of fresh hops greets the nose giving an indication of good things to come. The flavor does not disappoint. This is a full-bodied pale ale that will impress the most serious hop heads if they’re being honest with themselves. This ale definitely skews to the hoppy side as an APA should but there is a firm, malty body to give a well rounded experience. I’ve seen this priced below $5.99 a six-pack and it’s easily as good or better than beers costing almost twice as much. I get the impression that the sales and marketing guys let the Brewmaster do what he wanted with this one. High Falls is to be commended! I’ll bet this will give Saranac Pale some competition. Both are excellent and fairly priced.

I bought this beer just to see if it was ant good for the price. At 4.99 it was a steal. Nice amber color, beautiful off white head. The taste definatley didn’t disappoint. A very good APA, at an incredible price. Better than some I have tasted lately that were twice the price.

Grabbed a sixer of this Sunday night at the Avery Rd. Kroger in Dublin. I see this hasn’t scored out that high, but DAMN THE TORPEDO’S I’m sticking to my rating!! Stellar nose of perfume, citrus, and pine with just a hint of dried fruit. The brew pours a medium sparkling copper. The full rocky off-white head is fully lasting with great hunks of lace clinging to the side of my pint glass. This is what every head should look like. The flavor is a tad mild for an APA, reminds me much more of a classic PA from the UK, but still excellent. Great balance. The medium dry body is soft and feels chalky at the finish. Highly recommended.

I had low expectations about this beer but was VERY pleasantly surprised. This a a great APA. Kudos to High Falls for breaking out of the "bland beer" mold and giving us a very affordable and highly drinkable session APA. I just wish it was more widely available in my area.
