The sweet malts and slight hop bite at the end gave this session beer a little more kick than the regular Genny products. It seems like it only lasted for about one good summer.

When Labatt was making huge inroads directly into HFBC’s back yard they rolled this out to compete. This was a good beer and a direct shot at Labatt. They should have stuck with it.

Light golden, not yellow color. Light pleasant aroma. Mildly sweet flavor that goes well with anything. Was extremely pleased with the bartender's recommendation.

For three years now i have been imagining if this beer was a figment of my imagination or actually existed. A distributor in State College, Pa was giving out free samples of the beer one week and my friends and i got one, split it amongst ourselves, and decided to go back and get a case. When we tried to go back and get another case, the stuff had vanished and the people at the store acted like they had never heard of the stuff. I know this because when I asked a guy at the store about it he replied, "Never heard of the stuff." So now, many years later (3), i finally learn the stuff exists. I no longer have to wonder if i am crazy or not. ... Oh, And it was pretty damn good back then too.
