hopscotch (4433), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Mar 12, 2006 Updated: Jul 9, 2006Bottle... Clear, yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Very good retention. Earthy, floral aroma with light accents of citrus and toffee. Fruity, malty flavor with toffee and mild bitterness. Hints of caramel and spicy hops... very subtle. Medium-bodied and velvety with medium carbonation. Finishes bittersweet. muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Sep 18, 2006 12 oz bottle, cellar temperature, Michelob glass on my porch in mid-August 2006. Pale amber-gold with a moderate creamy head, mostly diminishing....caramelized malts and some harsh grassiness in the aroma actually balance each other nicely....sweetish, grainy body, light toffee and vanilla, a bit earthy and mineralic late....full, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, lively carbonation....simple and not anything great but quite drinkable and bettter than average from this brewery.
