Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, light yeast, earth. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (060808)

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, honey, and caramel, leading to a dry, bitter finish where also the honey lingers. The body is no wonder light.

Cask handpull at Lion Tavern, Liverpool. Deep gold with creamy head. Use of sparklers at this pub methinks. Slightly eggy aroma. Firmish in mouth with yeasty hop inish. Could be good but ruined by sparkler. Bitter citrus hop finish, bit bready. OK bitter.

Cask @ The Gullivers, M4 Manchester. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty finish with some hints of caramel and hops in the aftertaste.
