COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Raise a glass and cheer on Team GB with a pint of British Jewels. Brewed with a blend of Liberty and Mount Hood hops, for a fruity, hoppy flavour with malty characteristics and a golden colour. This name comes from an anagram of JW Lees. Food match: Ploughman’s lunch. Available June to August 2012.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, toasted - caramel, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120808]

GBBF. Clear gold beer, residual white head. Light dry palate. Light grainy malt. Sweetish floral hops - mild. Whisper of citrus. Dry finish. Okay!

Cask@GBBF2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, fruits, caramel and some floral notes along with mild grassyness. Flavour is being rather similar. Quite pleasantly balanced.
