Smooth, full bodied and full of twists and turns as in each episode of the UKís original soap. This is a beer made in Manchester, brewed with Northern Soul mixed in with the finest Northdown and Golding hops.

Medium amber copper with a frothy, lacy, lasting white head. Smells of caramel malt mostly with some fruity and nutty notes. Some light citrus in the background. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. The taste is mostly caramel malt but with a nice blend of fruit and finishing with a light citrus bitter hop dry finish. Moves nicely from sweet to bitter with lingering sourness. Impressive bitter overall. I fully enjoyed drinking it.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices, leading to a dry and spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Botte from Morrisons. Pours a clean brown colour, with a soft malty aroma, the taste is also malty with a dry bitter finish.

Bottled. A mid brown coloured beer with a whitish head. A malty beer with dried currants in the aroma. Fruity malts in the mouth. A bit of depth and signs of pasteurisation but the brown fruits are good and do linger. Itís OK.

Bottle from local Morrisons. Lovely copper colour with a good tight white head thats leaving good lace as I sup this. This has a good fruity character, with just the right amount of malty sweetness.Iím rather surprised at how good this actually is, it IS brewed by Lees I suppose and thatís usually a good sign. Well worth the £1.25 I paid for it.

Bottle. This one surprised me. Bronze and poured with a gig head. Fruity and creamy with a medium body. I am always wary of beers named after TV shows. This is more than a novelty-it is a very good beer. Struggle too think why it has had so many poor ratings.
