COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special - June to August 2010.
Not quite one of your five a day, but fruity none the less. This pale, golden beer is made with Northdown hops, the finest pale ale malt, and real strawberries thrown in for an authentic taste.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has strong notes of strawberries. The flavor has a bad note of strawberries, leading to a dry finish. Not well done at all.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Gold, lasting white head. Strawberry aroma, but not stoopid. It’s got strawberries and unlike other fruity bitters, the hop doesn’t undermine it. Strawbeerry does get a bit artificial, but not awful. I’ve had worse.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 10, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, strawberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, fresh, strawberry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100803]

Cask (GBBF2010)
5 Reminds me of drinking strawberry liqueuer, and then throwing up. Some parmesan, or bile.
3 Mid orange, small head
4 Even more puke in the taste, some plastic.
2 NOOO! too much puke
8 This must have been off. I like Lees generally, some of theirs truly rock. Then again, I think this is a flawed formula, strawberries don’t go with beer.

Cask Handpump at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 03/08/2010 Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and fruity with a strawberry flavour. A hint of bitterness in a malt finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is distinct strawberry fruity. Mild acidic to citric flavoured. Sweet strawberry and slight phenolic. Ends a bit flat and dry.
