Burk. Lättsam lager utan några större anspråk. För inte fram några tunga argument till bordet, utan nöjer sig med att vara en trivsam öl - ett ögonblickets njutning.

0.33 L can from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. Big-bubbled white head, lasting for a minute only. Body is pale yellow-golden with good clarity. Grassy and straw-like hops on the nose at first, then a whiff of dryish pale malts and sweet lemonade. Taste is medium sweet, light malty, with some floral, and maybe light honey-ish notes. A fair amount of both bittering, and grassy flavoring hops. Rather light-bodied. Finishes on the drier side, with a well prononced bitterness. Does not stand out in any way, a decent Pilsener though.

500 ml can from LCBO, served almost cold in a Scotch Irish taster glass.

App.: Clear light golden with a nice white head. Aroma: Light grassy, peppery hops, light hay, a little light skunk. Palate: Medium-ish body, moderate carbonation. Flav.: Light grass and wet hay, some peppery Saaz-like hops, very light biscuit, a bit of cereal/grain; dry with some bitterness and a light finish.

Not really the King. Not even really a Prince.

Boks 0,5l kjøpt på Systembolaget i Kiruna og delt med Rune på Elsas Skibotn 31 Okt 09. Lys gylden på farge. Luftig skum som flater raskt ut. God gressaktig aroma. Variert smak med røstet malt & frukt. Veldig kraftig bitterhet i ettersmaken – som sitter lenge i. Annerledes.

330ml can from Systembolaget in Kiruna. Light straw coloured body. One-finger, white head reduced to only a filmy layer. Lighter aroma of pale malts with a spicy touch. Malt-fruity taste. Bitter endnotes. Soft and dry on the swallow. Medium bodied. Clean impression. Half way pleasing (shared with Finn, Skibotn 31.10.2009).

50cl bottle bought in Aktiv Markt, Trier. Clear golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of hay, malts, grassy hops. Flavour is light sweet, malty, grassy, nice piny hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied. Although not very interesting, this is a very nice clean German pilsener.
