2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 heavy (1490) - Split, - NOV 26, 2008
30/10 1,5 l plastic bottle courtesy of ogivlado, great thanks for sharing! It poured darker golden body with medium sized head. Interesting grainy notes in aroma, a bit lemony as well. Flavor was very watery, but not bad as one would expect. Interesting buttery yeast, slightly sweetish with notes of honey. Shorter, orange-like finish. All in all, much better than Croatian version and even ok for a pale lager.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 ogivlado (4444) - Zagreb, CROATIA - NOV 18, 2008
big brown plastic bottle(1500ml). -Golden coloured, small white head, surprisingly pleasant malty nose. Buttery, light vinous and slight hoppy taste with notes of yeast and salt. Nothing more nothing less than ok.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Marko (3161) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 30, 2008
Big plastic bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!), shared with him and heavy Poured a fine golden body with a small white head. oily but kinda odd and maaaybe nice malty nose, grainy, yeasty with a weak note of propolis. The taste is very watery but not genuinely unpleasant in any way. Some yeastiness and weak woody malt... sweetish and weak. It’s not all that different from the other beers from Vršac. Better than expected... and better than the Croatian version.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 as (144) - Novi Beograd, SERBIA - SEP 1, 2008
1 l plastic bottle. The first Serbian supermarket beer, brewed by the SL (Vršačka) brewery. Idea is the Serbian branch of Croatian supermarket chain Konzum, so this is a copy of their K Plus beer, although the name is the only thing that connects them. The beer itself is plain awful - pale yellow colored, grain, chemical and sort of rotten vegetable aromas. Malt flavors here and then with an unavoidable metallic feel to it. Dry and bitter/ sour aftertaste. As said - awful!
