Bottle. Black and pored with a big head. Malty with traces of chocolate and coffee. Could have done with a bit more flavour but still a reasonably imporessive beer.

Bottle. Dark brown color with big lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate, rye bread crust, prunes, some fusel alcohol. Medium to light body, high carbonation. Ballance towards bitterness. In finish not only hoppy bitterness, but also ash comming from roasted malt. Flavors of malts and hops are not well tuned IMO.

0,2l from tap at LifeHouse, Nitra. black colour, small tan head. smells of licorice, spices, light roast, bit colaish, peppery. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, spices, light soapy notes, light coffee, peppery some herbs. finishes lightly bitter with notes of licorice and spices. good one, hops were lightly oldish and not so crisp anymore, but overall nice one.

0,33l bottle. Very dark colour with huge thick long lasting beige, almost brown head. Aroma: Very instense. Pine, pineapple, grapefruit, and overall fruity citrus but the roasty, chocolate and coffee notes are hiding there too and slowly coming out. Taste: Short roasted malty start (coffee) than a medium bitter (fruity) mouthfeel. Very warming and rich. Smokey and quite dry. Full body with average carbonation. Long bitter finish. Very serious and huge beer, I liked it a lot.

Floral hit from the hops but the rye still comes through strong. Caramel and nutty tones after the floral hit. Maybe a little too high on the CO2.

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Hazy deep ruby black colour with a tan head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malt. Taste is light sweet, with a big spicy roasted bitter finish.

Rating #1721 - 2015.06.03 - Bottle from CBI. Pours a red light district at midnight black, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is a violent clash between toasted malt, and floral piney hops. Taste is extremely hoppy, tempered with a pleasant coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar sweetness that disguises any alcohol on the palate and rounds out the hoppy bitterness, and is beyond refreshing. Unreal hoppy black beauty.
