Bottle, gift from Pam. Clear amber/ruby body with a medium off-whtie head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee apple and kiwi fruit. Flavour of resin, blood orange, sweet malts and a bitter finish. Medium body with a very oily texture. Soft fizz. A really solid IPA - bold and bitter yet very drinkable.

330ml brown bottle. Ummmm sooo much head... I’m worried. Orange, cloudy, glass is filled mostly with a huge column of beige foam, just out of control. Nose has caramel and candied citrus, sweeter than I was hoping for. Taste has thick caramel malts, some citrus and fruity notes. Opens up a bit more in the finish with citrus and pine. Kinda felt this was too sweet for me, maybe this bottle was a little off...

Aroma is sweet, fruity and quite heavy. There’s a somewhat yeasty aura about it to. Taste is deep fruity and heavy malty. Rich taste from dark berries and tropical marmelade. I’ll have to say, that they have concentrated a pretty heavy and muscular taste into this 6.5% abv beverage.

Beautiful dark red/amber, with solid cream-coloured head. Nice biscuit-y nose, some pine, with a slight roseyness to it. Pretty aromatic. Lower carbonation, medium silky body. Initially there’s some biscuit-y, bready and slightly caramelly maltiness to it before the hops kick in, which are have a decent rosey, piney, rich flavour. The malt develops into a decent, full rich support to the hops. It has a gentle fade-out with a slightly astringent, dry bitterness. Very nicely balanced.

Deep Orange-Red coloured beer. Pretty standard IPA. Not over the top like many of the new IPA’s go. But very drinkable.
