Goldgelbes Lager mit feinporigem Schaum. Leicht hefiger Grundton mit grasig-floralem Hopfen. Im Antrunk schön vollmundig; guter Malzkörper, leicht blumig. Der durchaus leckere Hopfen im Abgang ist leider zu schwach dosiert. Gutes Lager! Getrunken vom Fass in Kutna Hora im Halbliterkrug :-))

(plastic bottle) pours a murky shiny golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of strawberries and fragrant herbal hops, with light hints of lactic acid, hazelnuts and characteristic butter. flavour is the same, quite chewy and slightly earthy, with a light bitter minerally finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Draught at U Klokočnika , Prague. Pours hazy golden with a creamy white head. Grass, bread, buiscuit and floral hops. Smooth. Dry and bitter end. Nice.

Draught at U Klokočnika in Prague. That’s one mostly clear pilsner with a slightly darker robe than the average pale yellow and a delicate, lacey white foam. On the nose, the first impression is of remarkable cleanliness and exquisite malt extraction, bready, scrumptious, refined. It’s a beautiful pilsner, but straight after the 10 degrees, it felt thicker, stronger and more alcoholic, without the same childish joy and purity. Hoppier than average, it possesses a minty, tea-like herbal character atop the usual saaz spiciness. Leafy, green and very fresh. Another mighty fine offering from Kacov. Crisp and elegant.

RBESG08, blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Hazy golden, golden head. Flowery aroma. Chewy bready, good hop profile. Solid mouthfeel.

Cloudy pale amber colour, with rocky fluffy head. Fresh, bready nose with low hoppiness. Dry, grassy with aromatic hops, and bit resiny in the background.. Somewhat papery bitterness.

On tap. slightly hazy deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Medium body with a low carbonation, soft mouthfeel, some malt and a somewhat skewed fusty edge. Rather bitter finish. Does not appear completely fresh. 270608

Clear golden with large white fluffy head. Sweet fruity aroma with mild hoppy and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with hoppy and caramel notes.

(6/27/08) Draught at Vinarna Hrozen in Plzen. Hazy deep golden with a big rocky white head. Aroma has some yeast, some malty notes and hints of caramel. Sweet flavor, slightly caramelly, with light metallic bitterness in the finish. Light to medium-bodied. Nothing really good.
