4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 12, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2010 Draught at U Klokočnika in Prague. That brewery was my top surprise of a Czech tour, so it is no surprise that the yeast version of a contender as my trip favourite is killer. It is minimally hazy, bright and golden with a humongous 2-inches styrofoam top that lasts forever. Ridiculously easy 5. Somehow though, it is less delightfully straightforward as its filtered brother. Nonetheless, its freshness is to be lauded and its full-body is most impressive. Very fresh impression and convincing on the hop side with its leafy, herbal, spicy and... green side. A marvelous lager.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 omhper (15965) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 1, 2008
Draught at U Klokočnika, Prague. Hazy golden, small creamy head. Light orange-hay aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel. Light bodied, but the vitak grainy malt holds up very well. The evident hop flavour enhances the flavour further and brings a lingering but balanced bitterness. Well made throughout.
