@ Buriyat restaurant Kafe Bochka ("Barrel Cafe"). Hazy yellow, an intriguing color, but mostly flat. Smells like glue and Crisco shortening. Has a suspicious palate, and is very gluey throughout. Replete with problems, leaving lingering fumes in the mouth. Hideous.

A small basement Buryat pub with one house beer. Cloudy yellow-tan. A myriad of funky faults in the aroma - to start with it doesn’t actually smell like beer - paint, glue, yeast...nothing fun. Taste is an enthusiastic kit combo of butter, fruitiness, some strange yeastiness. Normally I like to encourage house bee makers, but in this case...
