Clear liquid. Aroma of booze made from appel cider. Tastes like soft booze. Velvet like texture. Quite enjoyable

Of all the sake’s so far the best. Quite strong spicy taste, bit like a light young jenever (not quite, a bit). Nice crispy taste. (Arnhem 201506)

Carafe at Sakagura. Pale straw colour. The aroma is softly sweet with some light sweet rice and a touch of fresh melon and a little bit of  light peppery finish. Medium bodied. A rich sort of slightly savoury finish with some lig mustiness

Slight hint of green. Fat, almost tangy nose is woody, lightly mushroomy with hints of Asian pear and a fair amount of koji. Flavour is big and ricey with woody accents and a somewhat muscular alcoholic finish. Fairly straightforward and in its brawn it has an appeal but it’s not one of my favourites.
