2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared outside the brewery tap - Buttenheim, as "St Georgen Brau Alkoholfrei" 25/01/14.
Pale golden with a moderate white head.
Nose is aspartamic, faint sugars, grass.
Taste comprises bread dough, pale malts, straw, artificial sweetner.
Light body, fine carbonation, dry closure.
Not bad for style, not as artificial tasting as many of this ilk.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Had this as St. Georgen Bräu Alkoholfrei. Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, spicy, a bit bready, but not too intense. Mild fruity with some sweet notes. Quite okay.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale yellow colour. Thin bready flavour. Watery. The bitterness is OK, but the rest of the beer is rather boring.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
50cl Bottle, as St. Georgen Bräu Alkoholfrei. Clear pale golden colour, frothy white head. Aroma of some weird sulphur stuff, like rice crackers, a bit eggy, bready malts, light hoppy. Flavour is light sweet, bread, rice, grassy bitter finish with some bready malts. Thin and watery, but at least it’s not as sweet as other NA beers, and it’s refreshing.
