Note: Formerly known as Kaiser Märzen Fasstyp

clear yellow. not the best of beers but it went down smooth and was drinkable. wouldn’t seek it out, but options were somewhat limited in Lermoos Austria...this seemed to be the go to beer in town.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long slightly bitter grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

.5 liter can labeled as Kaiser Bier smuggled back from Dubai by Joe M, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a crystal clear light golden color with a smallish bone white head. It almost looks like apple juice in my glass. Aromas of sweet bready pilsner malt with a hint of caramelized sugar. Light floral hop aroma, and I do mean light! The flavor is sweet bready pilsner malt with a touch of light pomme fruitiness and hints of spicy hop. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Far from world class, a bit one dimensional, but this certainly doesn’t suck.

Smooth and malty beginning. Sweetish-grainy. Not much deepness. The aftertaste is grainy-sweetish, not too long, not too bitter. Mainly grainy sweetish. That’s it.
