Can. Dark golden color with a thick slightly off white head. Pale malt and mild hops aroma. Malty flavors more of a vienna/helles mix.

[Bottled. Thanks to Gnoff] Pale golden colour. Pale malt nose, without any off-aromas. Light hoppy here and good Märzen malty. Very clean and true to style(in my humble opinion).

Bottle: Thanx to Mr.Rask for delivery: Clear golden colour, with a werry nice creamy white head. Aroma was of grassy, sweet malts and a nice dry bitter hopy ending. Flavor had a smoth sweet malty mouth feeling, mixed with a bit grassy and a bit citrus. Thin body, nice thin to medium dry hopy finish. Well done!

500ml can sample purchased at the LCBO. Pours a golden yellow, with lots of carbonation and a white head that recedes to nothing. A little lace as well. Aromas is malty and sweet. Taste is of malt, hop, sweet and a little grain. I enjoyed it.

This 5.2% alcohol by volume lager pours in the glass producing a prodigiously huge, frothy white head. Unlike the amber Märzen beers that most people are familiar with (i.e., the Oktoberfest beers) this on is golden yellow in color (this is a clear Helles or pale beer). This is a malty Vollbier that finished on the bitter side with full-hopped flavor. A Vollbier is a full-bodied beer, and in the Austrian style this beer fits somewhere in between an amber, bottom-fermented München beer and a golden Czech Pilsner.
