(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big blonde foamy head. Moderately sweet malty aroma with notes of dough and a distinctively citrus-fruity and flowery hoppy touch. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Slightly doughy and strawy malty base with herbal and nettle-like spices and subtle fruity and floral notes; dry and soft bitter with a good dash of herbal and spicy hops. Aromatic and quaffable Pils (28.X.08).

From my notes 6/9/07 Pours a two-finger white head that fades slowly to a ring, leaving some lace. Crystal clear pale amber color. Balanced nose. Good carbonation and light bodied. Flavor is hoppy but a reasonably clean finish, typical pilsner €3.00 ($4.11) for 0.5L glass on-tap at Hotel Maximillam Innsbruke, Austria.

Bottle (as Henninger Kaiser Pilsener byt the Mythos brewery in Greece), a carbonated clear gold with a frothy white head. A strong grassy hop and grainy malt aroma. A clean and crisp palate, flavoursome fruit and grass hops. Refreshing.

Canned. A bright yellow coloured beer with a nice white hed. The aroma is grassy hops. The taste is pretty sweet and malty with some buttery notes. Average.

A very pale thing. Almost clear. Summer piss colour? Good sweet aroma, some smoke even..? Tastes almost nothing. Too bad.

Very pale beer with a light head. The aroma is alcohol malty, and the flavour is very, very dry and gasey hopped. Overall a disappointing beer.

bierkoning (12388) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2005
Soft flowery aroma. Hopy, malty, soapy, but especially flowery flavor. Hoppy, flowery aftertaste. Just below medium bodied. Too perfumed for a pilsener.

Bottled. Straw gold, thin shortlived white head and moderate condition. Sweet malt and low grassy hoppiness in the nose, sweet and slightly metallic in the mouth with a hop bitterness towards the end.
