2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rwgould (306) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 16, 2011
Appearance: transparent light golden, foamy heady, little carbonation (maybe flat?). Aroma: Very hoppy. Like hay. Smells like a pilsner. Palate: Watery, a bit oily. Not much carbonation. Taste: Medium-strong bitterness, not very sweet. Feels flat. Not much kick to it. Pretty sad for a central european pils.

Stranded in Germany due to the volcano in Iceland. Darn the luck. Went to Salzburg for a couple of days. Had this beer on tap served with lunch. Beer was served had a golden color with a decent head and decent carbonation. The smell was a bit bland with a hint of grain, nothing bad. The taste was slightly sweet and non offensive. The feel was light and went down pretty easy. The beer went well with the meal, very non offensive.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 inbirraveritas (1046) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 2, 2010
Brewed by Heineken Hungária (contents maize coarse, too. 5.3% ABV on the label).
Poured a clear golden with a soapy head, carbonation was average.
Its nose was grainy and yeasty.
It began crisp, the flavour was bready/corny-kinded.
Light, but not expressly unpleasant aroma of cereal malt and grassy hops.
The finish was spicy and dry.
Overall a "drinkable" cathegory.
