Bottle, 5.2%. Very weak citrus aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is citric and a little buttery. A bit old-tasting.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hazy, golden with a grey hue and a huge, white and lasting head. The aroma has notes of grain, wheat, earth and yeast. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, wheat, light yeast, banana and luckily it has a spicy bite in the rather long finish, to prevent this from being a total catastrophy.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dense dark gold color with a medium body and slight diacytl aroma. Slight hop bitterness with a pale malt flavor. Serious "non-traditional" flavors working, not all associated with a wheat beer.

Downed a few bottles watching Germany sneak away with a win in the final seconds against Poland (2006 world cup). Appropriate german beer to suit the occasion, which like the national team managed to do just enough to get the job done, with little fanfare. Solid brew that’s good for a repeat drink.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2007 Bottled 0,50L.
A lot abundant and creamy foam, optimal adhesion, thickness and duration. Yellow gold color, hazy and extremely bubbly. Fine and extended fizz, much lively one. Elegant and typically weiss aspect. Balanced and prickly scent; notes of lemon, fresh corn and malty. Extremely stinging and racy taste. Determined notes of lemon, lightly acidulous on the end. Harmonious and balanced. Indeed amazing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Big, lasting head, pale colour even for a hefeweizen. Mild taste, maybe slightly watery but on the other hand no acidic notes. Pretty decent, refreshing indeed.
