Bottled (Kittys, BB 01/2010). Hazy orange color, small white head. Banana aroma with slightly yeasty and grainy notes. Crisp carbonation. Citrusy fruity flavor with baking yeast and banana. Dry floury finish. Not very personal or interesting.

MiP (13478) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2008
Bottle, 5.2%. Very weak citrus aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is citric and a little buttery. A bit old-tasting.

Maria (10125) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 1, 2008
Hazy, golden with a grey hue and a huge, white and lasting head. The aroma has notes of grain, wheat, earth and yeast. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, wheat, light yeast, banana and luckily it has a spicy bite in the rather long finish, to prevent this from being a total catastrophy.

Pours a dense dark gold color with a medium body and slight diacytl aroma. Slight hop bitterness with a pale malt flavor. Serious "non-traditional" flavors working, not all associated with a wheat beer.

Bov (9245) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 27, 2007
courtesy of Peter Ens; labelled "Falken Haus Weizen" - cloudy pale orange colour with a little white foam; heavy aroma of over-matured banana and corn; highly carbonated, modest malt body, sweet and a bit oily, long banana finish -overly typical

Downed a few bottles watching Germany sneak away with a win in the final seconds against Poland (2006 world cup). Appropriate german beer to suit the occasion, which like the national team managed to do just enough to get the job done, with little fanfare. Solid brew that’s good for a repeat drink.

Dorqui (2083) - Brescia, ITALY - NOV 14, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2007 Bottled 0,50L. A lot abundant and creamy foam, optimal adhesion, thickness and duration. Yellow gold color, hazy and extremely bubbly. Fine and extended fizz, much lively one. Elegant and typically weiss aspect. Balanced and prickly scent; notes of lemon, fresh corn and malty. Extremely stinging and racy taste. Determined notes of lemon, lightly acidulous on the end. Harmonious and balanced. Indeed amazing.
