(Can, 0.5 l, 20110706) The beer poured hazy and dirty yellow. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had banana, spices and malts. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were banana clove, fruitiness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was next to nonexistent. Watered down hefe-weizen

(500ml bottle) A pretty safe & pedestrian Hef , a one dimensional style , but when made with flare & depth i dig um . light yeasty, banana estery and caramel nose . perfumey. Safe maybe , but it tastes good enough . banana is pretty subtle ,sugary sweet , tangy spice notes . not bad.

It pours a surprisingly pale yellow body, that of course is hazy. The head is small, white and extremely short-lived and very un-hefeweizen-ish. Pleasant fruity aroma with plenty of banana, spices and yeast, just like it’s supposed to be. The taste is medium sweet with a refreshing acidic note. The flavour follows the aroma, with additional delicious honey notes. Medium body with medium carbonation. A nice hefeweizen!

25 May 2011, bottle. very pale yellow and very hazy w/ frothy white head. doesn’t look very nice. too pale. nose is primarily a sweet, yeasty aroma that has some banana tones and some spicy ones at that. thin/med body, creamy and a bit fizzy. This is okay. it is primarily yeasty rice pudding kind of flavour. banana and coriander are very soft. body is nice and creamy. still, i like my hefe a bit bigger in banana sweetness.
