25 May 2011, bottle. very pale yellow and very hazy w/ frothy white head. doesn’t look very nice. too pale. nose is primarily a sweet, yeasty aroma that has some banana tones and some spicy ones at that. thin/med body, creamy and a bit fizzy. This is okay. it is primarily yeasty rice pudding kind of flavour. banana and coriander are very soft. body is nice and creamy. still, i like my hefe a bit bigger in banana sweetness.

bax (1142) - Hasselager, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 29, 2011
(Can 29/4-2011) Unclear golden color, low head, got the expected yeast aroma for a wheat beer. Fairly good wheat beer, easy drinkable.

AshtonMcCobb (2542) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 26, 2011
50cl bottle. This pours a relatively light colour compared to other Hefes. It is still cloudy but more of a light yellow colour. There are steady bubbles and there is a generous head. The nose has the usual banana and cream aromas but they are fainter/drier than usual. The taste has more of the creamy banana again very delicate. The palate has good structure, a creamy texture (though not as creamy as typical for this style) and there is a clean finish.Overall, a lighter weiss but very enjoyable.

Litre can. Blonde, hazy. Fresh sausage (!) and aluminium in the aroma. Thinnish soft citrus flavor with sausage notes. Mediocre.

Bierkrug (2133) - - APR 7, 2011
1000 ml can in Germany. When poured correctly it comes out a very milky white color. Almost like a banana shake color. Aroma is light fruit and yeast. Taste is smooth and non-offensive but a little weak. Palate is very much the same weak and not outstanding. This is very drinkable but looks strange and is weak.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAR 27, 2011
megacan from Papantonious Chlorakas, Paphos. Poured into a glass mug. Unstable white head. Semi-opaque goldenrod color. Aroma is slightly metallic and socky before the limp citrus emerges. Palate is fizzy and limp. Random tartness and poorly developed malts, but is relatively balanced between sweet and acidic. Not much yeast character but thankfully isn’t an ester bomb. Is better as it warms, actually, but a sad beer overall.

Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty light banana and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet. Finish is sweet. A somewhat lacking hefeweizen. 190810

Dorqui (2105) - Brescia, ITALY - MAR 9, 2011
Bottled 0,50L. Shining yellow pale color, a lot fraught and hazy with a discreet bubbly aspect. Medium resistant head. Fresh and little prickly scent, notes of banana, lemon, cellar, stum. Little sour taste with an acidulous rumor of malt and dried hop.
