heavy (1490) - Split, - AUG 30, 2011
21/08 1 l can from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Banana, cloves and mostly lemony aroma. Weaker flavor, sourish lemony, slightly chalky and besides that nothing more. Overly carbonated, thinner body with long acidic finish, lemony of course, seeming fake, without true estery wheat notes. Quite bad Hefeweizen, but nice to be the 100th rater of it.

WVHouseofBeer (648) - Kissimmee, Florida, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Pours a somewhat hazy pale golden color with a small white head. Light aromas and flavors of banana, cloves and wheat. Mouthfeel is a little creamy but is too thin. Overall a pretty refreshing beer for a hot summer day but as far as Hefes go it is below average.

Good beer, at least due to its quite cheap price. Not special, but rather easy to drink.

Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma of banana with a touch of cloves. Sweetish banana dominated flavour, with a yeasty note.

50cl can from SuperBrugsen. Pours hazy light golden with a white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove and citrus. Lightly sweet with some acidity. Light bodied and goes down quite easy. Short, slightly citric aftertaste.

BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2012
Brown 500ml bottle, best before 12/2011, poured into a Franziskaner Weissbier glass 07/2011. Looked almost like a crystal Weiss it was so clear, only a very slight haziness in the golden yellow body. On top, a mountain of snowy white foam. Disappointing aroma, no vanilla, banana, yeasts or anything else to be honest. Hints of grains maybe, but not at all what I expect from a Hefeweizen. Fizzy water taste, with a minor metalic feel as the mouth dries: this is a very poor beer by any standards. I hate throwing anything away, but this nearly went down the sink. I managed to drink it however by eating a Pork Pie, Pickles, Cheese, Bread and a small packet of crisps!

gunnar (2644) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAR 13, 2012
Can. Pours hazy light golden with a big frothy white head. Aroma is sweet wheaty with the presence of banana. Taste is moderate sweet, with a unpleasant metallic note, high carbonated, dry and watery mouthfeel. Not the best hefe, very short aftertaste.
