Pour is a clear golden with a average white head. Aroma is burning and dry pils malt. Flavor is grass and dry pils malt. The flavor is decent but nothing great. This is a beer that is probably better in Germany.

June 2010: Brown 500ml bottle obtained from ’Beers of Europe’, poured three times into one of my Veltins stemmed tulip glasses (0.2 litre). Regular clean, clear looking Pilsner, light golden in colour with a fast reducing snow white head. Plenty of life in all three pours, carbonisation clearly to be seen rising through the body. Typical Pilsner non-smell, some weak cereal and grass hints, but gets my normal 3 for a lager/pilsner non-aroma. This is just a bog standard Pilsner, nothing bad about it, nor anything outstanding. Refreshing, crisp and clean tasting, no real flavours to get excited about. Just about mid-range in everything, wouldn’t want to drink it all night, but two or three would cool you down nicely.

Can. Pours clear straw colured with a tiny white head. Aroma of sweet grain, rather harsh and unpleasant. Taste is leaning toward wet newspaper, even though dry and harsh, strange and unpleasant artificial bitter aftertaste. Watery mouthfeel, cheepish.

2/27/12. 500mL bottle. Clear light copper pour with a small khaki head that fades fast. Light, sweet aroma with a bit of sweet caramel and grassiness. Sweet caramel graininess hits first with a touch of green apple followed by dry grains and grassy hops with a lingering dryness. Not bad.
