Kalfaret Waldemars Hveteøl

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a semi-transparent pale yellow body with a small white head. Banana, citrus and bubblegum aroma. Some cloves as well. Way too weak on the nose, but not foul at all. Bubblegum starts the flavor show, some sweetness arrives in the middle, and in the finish there’s some cloves, but as the aroma, the flavor is too weak. Medium body and quite low on co2. Easy to drink, easier to forget. (080502)

On tap@the brewery. Almost clear, very pale body with a thin white head. Didn’t look much like the picture at all. Aroma is very vague, only a hint of wheat/yeast – whatever. Flavor is fruity, slightly bitter ,quite refreshing but not very distinct in any way. More fruit than wheat flavor, this beer could almost be any other kind of light and pale ale.

Draft at the brewpub. Soft, round, sweetish. A little ripe fruit. Rather anonymous, but not offensive in any way.

400 ml draught.Orange cloudy flavour. Tall white head. Subdued aroma with a hint of cloves and white bread. Very lager-like, though still quite drinkable. Something for the masses. Dull carbonation. Not my favorite.

The worst Kaslfaret beer. Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, stinky eggy nose. No wheat, no hops, no nothing. Just pure water with tiny hints of fruit.
