oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Dec 30, 2005 Pours darker than most N/A’s on the market. Aromas of vegtables, corn, and some minor hopping. Flavor is bitter and kind of tasty. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA Dec 30, 2005 My first near-beer... Smells a bit bitter, looks nice though, thick headed and amber hue. Somewhat sweet(albeit a bit light) in taste, though a bit bitter. Not appalling, but not that flavorful either... Oh well, it was worth a shot... Go with Draught or Extra Stout for this brewer. Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Dec 26, 2005 What can I say? It was floating in the back of the fridge at my in-laws, all but forgotten from a previous gathering. I decided to save it from being a straight drainpour by giving it a shot. Medium amber, decent head. Aroma of slightly sour wort. Flavor matched, with a note of seaweed (adds body!). Not good. madsberg (4873), Søborg, Denmark Dec 17, 2005 Bottled: Pale yelow. Clear. Huge white head. Vague metallic aroma. Flavour is light sweet and has vague fruity notes. Damned this is not good. Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Dec 17, 2005 Updated: Apr 30, 2006Not that bad, it has this suspiscious honne aroma, but it was good, but with not too much alcohol. And all that it means. You know, the foam, etcetera. bruno1378 (120), Epping, New Hampshire, USA Nov 19, 2005 I"m a bit let down - when I saw "From the Brewers of Guinness" I wanted to give it a shot, I thought it might be a darker beer, like Guinness. However, even though it’s not what I expected, it is definitely better than most of the American brews (Bud & company). I would certainly choose this for taste over most of those, if I was looking to have an ’easy’ night. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Nov 18, 2005 Nothing there in aroma, appearnace or head (as far as flavor, that is). The malt liquour texture is there, but it’s also evident that is has no punch, but then I guess that’s the point. Flavorwise, I’d prefer this to a Bud easily...I just can’t give a N.A. higher than a 9 on principle. iammadeofjelly (183), Liverpool, Merseyside, England Nov 6, 2005 not bad for a non alcoholic beer, but whats the point in them? id rather have a soft drink if im driving, its got like a piss aftertaste thing and hurts your tongue.
