2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 frankenkitty (1953) - Oak Lawn, USA - MAR 18, 2006
Ah... what better way to end St. Paddy’s Day than with an Irish N.A.? (I’ll need a few more of these to get my BAC down to my buddy Gene’s level... check yours <a href=http://www.ou.edu/oupd/bac.htm>here. /> Pours a bright whisky color with a white head that fades to a thin film. I used to work about a mile downwind of the <a href=http://www.encyclopedia.chicagohistory.org/pa Corn Refinery in Summit, IL and the initial aroma of Kaliber brought back memories of chilly, damp mornings after the graveyard shift. So... roasty corn husks and additional corny by-products. Flavor is rather bland with malted notes, bitter edges and an overall sourness that hangs in the finish. Really not too bad, for what it is... anybody need a ride home?

Is this fizzy piss? It just has to be. This cannot really be beer. So watery and nasty. Damn.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter not pleasent flavor. Short light bitter finish. Very watery palate.
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 TizzleJizzle (146) - Garland, Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Bottle. Doughy/malty aroma. Clear dark golden color. The appearance was the best thing this brew had going for it (and it didn’t even look appetizing). Taste was AWEFUL, old bread and sour biscuits. Left a horrible taste on the palate. So bad I didn’t even finish it. Hands down the worst beer I’ve ever had! I wish I could give this a 0.2 cus that’s about what it deserves.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 seymour (602) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Poured from bottle into pilsner glass. Golden color with decent off-white foam, some lacing even. Looks like beer, smells like beer. I’m picking up a little caramel and roasted grains, even. The only reason I tried this is because of my Guinness obsession and I’d like to taste everything from the same brewery. I supposed there is a time and place for alcohol free beers, but they aren’t for me. That said, in some ways, this is probably a better-crafted beer than many American Light Lagers.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 BeerSkull (494) - SWEDEN - AUG 20, 2011
Smells of sour berries and horse piss. Tastes washy juice with a strange musty taste of elderberries. This is the most disgusting beer I have tasted. Completely undrinkable!
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 elgiacomo (563) - Chickamauga, Georgia, USA - JUL 3, 2011
12oz bottle, unknown date. Served at 45F.
Pours clear amber with a large off white head that leaves some spots of lacing and holds a light cap.
Aroma is some sweet grain, caramel, and good bread/toast. Moderate to good strength and actually rather enjoyable aroma. The bread & toast really come out as it warms.
Flavor is sweet grains, light caramel, finishes with some grassy/herbal notes, a touch metallic. Moderate sweetness, mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, good carbonation.
Ya know...this ain’t bad for a non-alcoholic beer. Certainly smells and tastes better than your typical adjunct lagers, that’s for sure.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 dionysus (1257) - Arizona, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Bottle pours yellow with a white head. Aroma shows notes of corn and grassy hops. Flavor shows pretty much the same with additional hints of cardboard. Overall body is thin and finishes with some astringent bitterness.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 bbrock81 (273) - Le Mars, Iowa, USA - MAY 19, 2011
Bottle. Pours bright yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is of watery, sour beer. Flavor is the same, at first, then a terrible sourness overpowers everything else until you swallow the swill (or spit it out, which may be the wiser course of action). I’ve honestly never tasted anything with the horrible flavor that jumps out of this stuff.
