Bottle(s) in Nassau. Classic Bahamian beer. Little taste. Little of anything . . . but awfully good with an order of conch fritters under the bridge at Potters Cay. Love the one youíre with; Drink the beers you have in front of you . . .

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma is fruity and metallic and a little skunky, appearance is fizzy medium yellow. Slightly bitter and with metallic fruity sweetness. Crisp enough, pretty easy going, like many tropical beers distributed by Heineken.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Itís got a slightly sweet aroma with that very English hop aroma (not sure what kind of hops are English, but theyíre pretty distinctive, almost musty). Itís a gorgeous gold color. The flavor is that same musty hop/hay flavor, with a slightly sweet finish. This beer obviously isnít going to blow away beer snobs, but as far as a good beach drink, you canít do too much better.

The Bud of the Bahamas. Had an indescribable funk to it. Probably won't be having again. Received from a close friend who has sailed around the Caribbean.
