Bottle(s) in Nassau. Classic Bahamian beer. Little taste. Little of anything . . . but awfully good with an order of conch fritters under the bridge at Potters Cay. Love the one you’re with; Drink the beers you have in front of you . . .

(Kalik) Bottle 355 ml clear glass bottle, from vipinvelp, many thanks! New country! Served into a shaker, ABV 5.2% Clear pale yellow colour on the body, small white head that disappears stright away. Lazy activity in the glass. Aroma of malts accompanied by some lemon notes, I think a slice of lime would compliment it quite well. Taste of malts, old apples, light hay. Thin body, high carbonation. One of those lagers that surely taste better in the country of origin.

Not my favorite style of beer, and not my favorite version of this style of beer, BUT... It has a bright super pale yellow color, not much head, very mild malt flavor, not much in the way of hop flavor or bitterness, and no hop aroma. A touch of corn, a touch of sweetness. It’s fine for what it is -- a super light lager meant to drink ICE cold on the beach, as the warm crystal clear Caribbean ocean waters gently wash over your feet, standing in pristine white sand (which is where I had it). I could do that all day long!

Clear yellow, small white foam ring. Not a ice aroma, and also not so good taste. Country tick. (Houston 201501)

At MIA airport doing a run of carribean beers. This is bad. Lots of grassy, cereal grain. Relatively clear pale straw with sustained white head. Taste is rough - grass, grass and grass. Spicy-ish finish. Crisp.

Transparent gold, large giant white head drops to collar. Stinging grain sweetness, light corn and metal, sweaty adjunct paper. More bitterness up front, light body and syrupy sweetness but controlled grain, light corn, aluminum metallicity hidden until finish.

Bottle, hand carry home by Ajax, dude epic pale lager! Enjoyed in my Bourbon County snifter. This lager just glimmers in the snifter, the light catches it just right. Aroma is light rice and corn. Flavor is not offensive but mainly because it doesn’t taste like anything at all. Thin and watery texture.... Ok, what else can I type here?

From a 12 oz bottle at the DC Pre-Turkey Day Tasting, Novemeber 9, 2014. Courtesy of Travlr. Pours a light gold with an off white head. Nose of corn and grain. Taste like a typical caribbean pale lager.

Bottle shared by Travlr at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Poured a sad looking, clear yellow color with a fizzy, foamy white head. Aroma was sunked malts. Grain. Flavor was sunked notes, some wheat, citrus.
