1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle(s) in Nassau. Classic Bahamian beer. Little taste. Little of anything . . . but awfully good with an order of conch fritters under the bridge at Potters Cay. Love the one youíre with; Drink the beers you have in front of you . . .

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours an unnatural looking straw-yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains and skunk. Taste is skunk, grains, and more skunk. Ugh.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20
Aroma: typical pale lager cereal and rice; Appearance: pale straw, cloudy with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: follows nose with additional unpleasant notes reminiscent of bug spray; Palate: light bodied with long, ugly finish; Overall: got the Bahamas tick. Thatís all I can say.

Bottle brought back to uk from a visit to Nassau, Bahamas. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of light hop, corn and grass. Fairly sweet, light bitterness. Light body. Not one of the better Caribbean pale lagers.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle received in trade.
Brilliantly clear light golden color with a decent but short lived bubbly white head. Skunk in spades as soon as I pop the cap it envelopes the room. It slowly fades but it is constant in the aroma and flavor. Light crackery bready malt with some residual sweetness, carbonic bite, and faint hop presence. I guess I could say Iíve had worse and maybe these arenít always light struck. If I find myself in the Bahamas I will try again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Tastes like bready malt, dough, sweet corn, and faint citrus. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet corn, grassy, and doughy malt.

In the Bahamas in Nassau. Long day at the Atlantis swimming with the family. Bought one going back into the boat. Standard pale lager thatís decent for the situation.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle from First Choice Liquor 300616. I could imagine if you were sitting on a golden sandy beach under the blazing Carribean sun in the Bahamas this beer would probably taste like the best beer in the world. Unfortunately I am not in the Bahamas and this beer tastes any but good.

1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, as Kalik Crisp. Very pale gold with a sudsy white head. Aroma is grainy with some cardboard, slight but definite hop notes of lemon and light spices. And the slight hop notes are there in the taste too, but thatís about it. Thereís mild lollyish sweetness thatís a bit papery. Some bitterness at the end. The bottle claims thereís malt in this but you wonder. Poor for a pale lager.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured a crystal clear pale golden colour with a two-finger bright white foamy head that diminished slowly and laced OK. Carbonation high with medium to coarse bubbles. Aroma strongly of grain/corn and hints of light malt; no obvious hops. Taste is slightly sweet, bland and a bit salty; no real hops bitterness. Light body. Crisp, smooth, refreshing and sweet with a hint of tartness on the finish.
