gameface23 (86), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA Aug 4, 2008 I like Caribbean lagers because they usually finish crisp. This one didn’t disappoint in that aspect. Pours golden with a weak head. Sweet & sour grain notes. Floback (244), N-town, Florida, USA Jul 31, 2008 12-ounce bottle as part of a 12-pack set entitled Best Beers of the World, which is surely a questionable title. Pours a standard gold lager color with the extreme carbonation evident in rocketing bubbles. Displays a tiny 2 centimeter head. An aroma of sour grains wafts out of the bottle, which proves to be most of the flavor in this beer. Light bodied and high carbonation; finishes crisp and clean. This is decent for the style. DocLock (4085), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 28, 2008 Pours pale gold with 1-finger white head. Nose is pale malt, mild hopcitrus, and moire than a little thiols. Tastes pale malty, with mild hopcitrus, fruit, and honey notes. Gets better as it warms, and it tastes better than it smells, but is an abomination overall. jredmond (598), New Jersey, USA Jul 14, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours clear gold yellow body with no head. Upon releasing the cap, a sick skunky aroma finds its way to my nose. Taste is smooth and flavorless. Not as skunky as the aroma suggests. Guinness4Duff (464), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Clear straw colored pour with a white head. Aroma is light and of musty noble like hops. Taste is malty sweet with a grain presence reminiscent of rice crispies. Bitterness is mild, but non offensive. Not bad for the style.
