1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. The pour was a pale yellow with a large (2-3 finger) fizzy white head that diminished quickly and had poor lacing.
The aroma was almost non-existent but did have a mild scent of a grain malt, a weak grassy hop and a moldy yeast with just a hint of caramel.
The taste was very lightly sweet and just a tad malty with a hint of caramel from the beginning to end and not much else. The flavor lasted a very short time with any aftertaste fading very quickly.
Mouthfeel was extremely light in body with the texture being rather watery and having a fizzy carbonation.
Overall a super light beer that did not have a lot of flavor.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle(s) while traveling to the Bahamas. Drank straight from the bottle at various bars and tiki huts. Golden pale with no haze. Solid carbonation. Mild aroma of corn and bread. Metallic tasting with corn, bread and light bitter hops. Nothing special but they are cold and chuggable while hanging in Nassau.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
The aroma is a mixture of floral and spruce. The color is straw with a head that dissipated quickly. It has a decent hops tasted to it. It was actually better than I anticipated. It has a stringent sting as it goes down which is not very appeasing on the palate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear darker gold with a thin, wispy white head. Really poor head retention and no lacing to speak of.
Bready aroma with some hints of flowers, hay, and grass. Somewhat reminiscent of a European lager.
More bread in the taste. There is just the lightest bit of toast in there along with grass and hay from the hops. Bitterness in on the light side and the finish is extremely dry and crisp. This has to be one of the most refreshing beers I have had.
Overall, what an awesome lighter lager! It is so crisp and has just enough flavor to keep it from being boring. A great beer to drink in hot weather and just blows away Red Stripe

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear bright yellow with a thin white head that quickly takes its leave. Aroma is crisp, malty, a little fruity - typical but acceptable. Flavor is typical of a pale lager, but refreshing. Texture is smooth but flat. OK, nothing great, but at least itís palatable.

Malik is a light golden color. It has a dry crisp taste with a slightly strange finish.

Clear bottle (ugh) into glass at a restaurant in NC. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma of pale malt sweetness, corniness and some skunk. Taste didnít seem as sweet as aroma led on, notes of graininess and light grassy hop bitterness. Light body, heavy carbonation, watery with clean finish. Pretty standard pale lager from a tropical vacation destination.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pale yellow color with a thin, fizzy white head. Corny nose with some skunk, but not unexpected for a clear bottle from some little island. Corny sweetness with some cardboard. Iím sure its better fresh on the beach.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a clear gold color with a pillowy white head. The nose remind me of a euro lager. This is very odd as the flavor has a distinct lack of bitterness (aromatic hops only?). Slight sweet pale malt, but weak and watery at that. Clean finish. This one didnít improve towards the bottom of the glass.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
From old notes. Pours clear light golden with small white head. Aroma of skunk and pale malts. Flavor follows with a blast of skunk and light corn flavor. Dirty finish. Not a fan. In the Corona and Land Shark area here.

Might be the best carribean beer. Unlike its carribean competitors it has a good ( and strong) taste.
However, do not mistake the gold version for a better version.
