Our tropical lager is the best selling beer in the Bahamas, with good reason. Since Kalik was launched in 1988, it has by recognized by the International Institute for Quality Selections with three consecutive Monde Section Gold Medals for Quality.

Bottle. The pour was a pale yellow with a large (2-3 finger) fizzy white head that diminished quickly and had poor lacing. The aroma was almost non-existent but did have a mild scent of a grain malt, a weak grassy hop and a moldy yeast with just a hint of caramel. The taste was very lightly sweet and just a tad malty with a hint of caramel from the beginning to end and not much else. The flavor lasted a very short time with any aftertaste fading very quickly. Mouthfeel was extremely light in body with the texture being rather watery and having a fizzy carbonation. Overall a super light beer that did not have a lot of flavor.

Aroma is fruity and metallic and a little skunky, appearance is fizzy medium yellow. Slightly bitter and with metallic fruity sweetness. Crisp enough, pretty easy going, like many tropical beers distributed by Heineken.

Pours a crystal clear classic golden with a quickly dissipating white head. Skunky nose with some corn sweetness. Mouthfeel is smooth and wet with a mild microscrub from the carbonation. Skunky flavor. A bit watered down from a Corona. Some toffee noted along with some sweet corn.

One of the better beers found in the Bahamas. Pour is a light amber with no head. This beer is available everywhere in the Bahamas.

Clear yellow pour white head. Aroma of malt, hops. Strong malt and hops flavor. Beer concentrate type of pale. Strong bitter finish. Probably the best macro you can find for hops lovers on the island.

It’s got a slightly sweet aroma with that very English hop aroma (not sure what kind of hops are English, but they’re pretty distinctive, almost musty). It’s a gorgeous gold color. The flavor is that same musty hop/hay flavor, with a slightly sweet finish. This beer obviously isn’t going to blow away beer snobs, but as far as a good beach drink, you can’t do too much better.
