330ml Bottle (Thanks Omhper) - Black with a foamy tan head. Coffee, liquorice, roasted malt and plain chocolate feature in the aroma. Rich and roasted taste with notes of Bourneville chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Despite its richness, it’s fairly easy to drink.

Bottled@omhper. Quite close to black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is yeast, bread and some mild notes of liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, mild toffee, malts and some rye. Balanced.

very dark red to black color, brown head. Malty, wood, smoke, sweet, sugary scent. Sweet, alcohol taste. Alcohol aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Sample at omhper’s testing. Pours black with a big brown head. Smells malty. Tastes malty and alcohol.

Bottle at omhpers tasting 110930. Black beer, brown head. Roasted malt aroma, caramel, a bit salty. Roasted malt flavor, licorice, some hops, caramel. A bit thin.

Bottle@Omhper’s place. Cheers! Appearance: Dark as night with a medium sized, brown, head. Aroma: Caramel, Licorice, Yeast, and some roasted malts. Taste: Salammoniac, Licorice, Yeast, Caramel, and alcohol. Palate: Overcarbonated and it has a homebrew-feel to it. Ends bitter with hint of spices. Meh. I think this beer will taste better after some aging.

Sample @ omhper’s. Pours pitch black with a nice tanned creamy head. Aroma is malty sweetish caramel phenolic chemical. Flavor is sweet fruity green apples phenolic bitter roasted malty.

Bottled, thanks Christer! Black, beige head. Spiced molasses and caramel up front. Medium-full bodied with fairly soft mouthfeel. Prunes and licorice, salt and aniseed. Peppery warming finish. A decent strongish porter with some lose edges.
