Strong, pale beer. During the process of deep fermentation well-matured hops and light coloured malt result in full-bodied, slightly sweetish taste and mellow aroma of 7.30. Our strongest beer, Kalnapilis 7.30, has an especially strong aroma. The distinct flavour marvellously matches the higher volume of alcohol. A mug of pale, cold Kalnapilis 7.30 is for those looking for a stronger impression.

Bottle. Lemon, biscuit malt, and astringent hay aroma. Golden yellow with nice white head. Moderately sweet lemon, cardboard, biscuit malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Decent body. My bottle was a bit oxidized but not too bad. Pleasant - minimal harshness/fusels in this one.

Can. Picked up in Walthamstow, near my sisterís place Bock-pilsner seriously, what? Magnum hops on the front. It could do with some more. And Saaz. Lots of lovely Saaz. Big pilsner malt backbone. Way over-carbonated. Pastuerised. Far too heavy. White lacing simmers down quickly. Grass, straw, some petrol and iodine on aroma. Taste is pislner malt, lemons, straw, sherbet sweets. Some good body but the pasteurisation is ruining it for me. Itís industrial and itíll sell well. Would be nice to try unpastuerised. Pastuerisation sucks.

Labeled as Bock. Nice golden pour with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma of grains. Flavor is slightly sweet malt. For what it is not bad

Almost nonexistent aroma of grains. Clear, pale yellow body, white head. Mellow bitterness in the taste, short cardboard finish. The alcohol is well hidden for the percentage.

Can from Continental Food Store, Wakefield. Golden with next to no head. Ordinary lager, although not feeling the strength of which it is named after. Has a small bubblegum sweetness throughout its character.

From Festival de las Naciones. In Paulaner glass. Watching Vikings 3x10. Nice and very drinkable, although it doesnt have any resemblance to what I thought it was a bock (Im thinking in La Trappeís one) Its more like a strong euro lager.

22 oz bottle poured in a big mug bought at Polish market (as Kalnapilis Bock). Pours medium gold. Little head. Initial flavor is normal, a bit carbonated, slightly metallic. Finish when cold is pretty clean. However, when warm it is very strong and reeks of cheap adjunct. Below average. I would say this is more of a malt liquor than Imperial Pils, but thatís a very thin distinction.

Clear classic golden with a thick, bumpy white head. Corn and green grape on the nose. Smooth and full with light carbonation. Flavor approximates the nose.

DWFIV; Can 0, 5l. Pours clear golden with a moderate to large frothy, moderate lasting and lacing white head. Aroma is malt, hay, light vegetable and spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter with a short to moderate lasting finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Strong pale or bock, I dont think so.

From a bottle. Pours hazy apricot gold with a bubbly white head. Tastes like bitter dry straw, soda, and very musky malt with some dried fruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like grass, straw, and musky doughy malt.
